Fast-food, fast-casual, fast-good: big winners in the restaurant business in 2018?

After an excellent 2017 with record figures for 15 years, the specialist media were predicting that 2018 would be a promising year for the restaurant sector, and they weren't wrong! While the crisis had prompted the French to allocate an increasingly smaller share of their budget to eating out, the trend now seems to have reversed, to the benefit of restaurateurs. Traditional establishments are seeing an increase in sales, footfall and average bill, the likes of which have not been seen since 2011, but as the year draws to a close, one player in particular is doing particularly well: the fast-food sector. Companies such as McDonald's, Burger King and O'Tacos, which meet the original criteria for fast food, don't seem to be losing popularity, while new fast-food players are appearing on the market, confirming the rise of two trends that have been present for several years: fast-casual and fast-good.What are the differences between these three concepts?
